Pic Collage Rubrics

Writing Rubric – Frau Rombauer will evaluate your writing and give you feedback

100%	Student has answered all 6 questions and has written complex sentences. Student added extra information about their pictures.  Student has written accurately – words are spelled correctly (nouns capitalized) and sentence structure is perfect. Used 'weil' instead of 'denn'
95%	Student has answered all 6 questions and has written complex sentences. Student added extra information about their pictures.  Student has written accurately with one or two minor mistakes. Used 'weil' instead of 'denn'
85%	Student has answered all 6 questions and has written simple yet accurate sentences. Some extra information regarding the pictures is present. Some minor mistakes do not take away from comprehensibility. Used 'denn'
75%	Student has not answered all of the questions and has written basic sentences. No extra information is present. Major mistakes are present which affect comprehensibility. Used 'denn'
65%	Student has not answered all of the questions and some sentences are incomprehensible. Major spelling mistakes are present and the sentence structure is inaccurate. Is this Deutsch?!   Did not use a form of because.
	*If you have answered < 5 questions, you automatically get a 75% or below.*Not presenting will result in an automatic 50%

Speaking Rubric – The peers at your table will evaluate your presentation

100%	Presenter talked about all 6 questions and added extra information to their pic collage, and more than 6 pictures are present. Presenter spoke confidently and enthusiastically. Presenter made eye contact with peers and didn’t read from their paper.  I understood everything the presenter said because of their excellent pronunciation and fluent speaking.
95%	Presenter talked about all 6 questions and added extra information to their pic collage, and more than 6 pictures are present. Presenter spoke confidently and enthusiastically. Presenter made eye contact with peers and only read a couple of times from their paper.  I understood everything the presenter said because of their excellent pronunciation and mostly fluent speaking.
85%	Presenter talked about all 6 questions and 6 pictures are present. Presenter mostly spoke confidently and enthusiastically. Presenter made eye contact with peers even though they read from their paper.  I understood everything the presenter even though they made small pronunciation errors. Speech was mostly fluent.
75%	Presenter didn’t talk about all 6 pictures and/or 6 pictures are not present. Presenter was a little bit nervous but made a great effort. Presenter read from their paper but looked up to describe the pictures once or twice. I didn’t understand everything the presenter said due to pronunciation errors. Speech was slow, halting, or hesitant.
65%	Presenter didn’t talk about all 6 pictures and / or 6 pictures are not present. Even though the presenter read from their paper, it was really hard to understand them. Are you speaking Hungarian? Speech is mostly incomprehensible.
	*If you have answered < 3 questions, you automatically get a 60% *Not presenting will result in an automatic 50%
